Family support advisers (FSAs) help schools and parents to understand each other better and to work together in children’s best interests. FSAs have real influence on positive outcomes for children – by encouraging parental involvement in the school and its activities, developing parenting skills and supporting families with information, advice and guidance.

The FSA Networking, Training and Support Service supports improvement in schools’ relationships with parents by providing advice, support, networking, supervision and training for Bracknell Forest FSAs ensuring that they have the necessary skills in parenting support to work effectively and contribute to raising standards in schools.
